MBTA resumes service along Green line

(NECN) D-branch trains are up and running again along the MBTA's Green line.

Service between Newton Highlands and Riverside station resumed Saturday morning for the first time since Wednesday's crash that killed a trolley operator.

Service will be suspended again for several hours Sunday afternoon so investigators can re-create the crash.

Federal officials say they found no evidence the brakes were applied before the collision.
