| September 15, 2008 Man who killed NH boy 35 years ago departs state

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire officials who have been
clamoring to get a returned child-killer sent to another state have
gotten their way.
The governor and attorney general announced Monday that federal
officials have transferred 60-year-old Raymond Guay to another,
undisclosed state. Guay killed a 12-year-old boy in Nashua 35 years
ago.
He moved into a rooming house in Manchester recently after being
released from prison in West Virginia. State and local officials
protested vigorously, and announced Monday that Guay has been sent
elsewhere.
