(NECN: Latoyia Edwards, East Bridgewater, Mass.) - A Massachusetts man pleads not guilty after police made an explosive discovery at his East Bridgewater home. Police found more than a dozen explosive devices at his home, forcing neighbors to evacuate.
The discovery Thursday prompted the evacuation of three nearby houses and traffic and pedestrians were diverted away from the normally quiet East Street neighborhood.
Police Chief John Cowan said authorities went to the home of 41-year-old Michael Ambrose after receiving a tip from someone who had seen the explosives.
State police, the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are also investigating.
The defense attorney says Ambrose had a harmless hobby.
Ambrose will be back in court next Tuesday for a detention hearing.
