(NECN) - On Friday night the 28th Pan Mass Challenge will kick off in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. Some 5400 bicyclists will ride distances up to 192 miles with a goal of raising $34 million in the fight against cancer.
Back in 1980 it all started with one man. Billy Starr is the founder of the Pan Mass Challenge and Jim Braude got a chance to discuss the success and growth of the event with him.
