July 2, 2008 Parents of missing children reach out to Bennett family Play video

(Katie Daly, NECN: Worcester, MA) - Two families who know the pain of losing a child are reaching out to Brooke Bennett's family. Bennett, was found dead in Randolph, Vermont shortly before 5:00 pm Wednesday afternoon.

Supporters were originally going to Randolph for a vigil, but the grim discovery turned the vigil into a memorial service.

Among those in attendance were Magi Bish, the mother of Molly Bish whose daughter went missing eight years ago from her lifeguard post in Warren, MA. Her body was found three years ago in a wooded area.

Also Kerin Jolin planned to attend. She is Holly Piirainen's aunt. Holly was 10-years-old when she was kidnapped in 1993. Her body was found two months later.
