(Danica Pecirep, NECN; Worcester, MA) - Police dogs searched for the remains of a possible murder victim as authorities continued to comb through a lot on Kilby Street in Worcester Tuesday. A tip led police to the site.
"We're going to continue until we either find the remains or can conclusively say that we are certain it is no longer present in the area."
Captain Edward McGinn of the Worcester police department is overseeing the team thats digging up the lot. He says its more than a tip that has police believing the search is worthwhile. The murder they're investigating is more than twenty years old.
