Power outages keep New Hampshire in the dark

(NECN/AP) - PSNH crews have made significant progress in restoring power to customers in southwest, New Hampshire.

About 200 customers are reported to still be without power as of 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Those customers include homes in Westmoreland, where complete restoration is expected by early afternoon; and, Hinsdale and Winchester, where work is expected to continue until early evening.

About 2,700 hundred customers in the area lost power Tuesday when a power thunderstorm ripped through the area, bringing down trees, utility poles and powerlines.
