(NECN) - President Bush has signed a major disaster declaration for Aroostook County, Maine.
There were record floods there last week.
The federal assistance will go to both individuals and businesses.
It can be used for temporary, repairs and disaster-related expenses not covered by insurance or other assistance programs.
The assistance for individuals will come in the form of grants or low-interest SBA loans.
