| May 25, 2008 Prostitution sting supposedly nabs Boston Firefighter
|
(NECN) - Friday night into Saturday morning, officers from District B-2, Dorchester and Roxbury, executed "Operation Squeeze" in the lower area of Blue Hill Ave. and the Boston Globe is reporting that they nabbed an active Boston Firefighter.
This was in response to community complaints of prostitution, drug use and the deleterious effects related to prostitution.
As part of this operation, undercover officers were deployed in the areas normally frequented by prostitutes.
While working in that undercover capacity, officers were approached by "johns"/individuals seeking various sexual favors in exchange for money.
Once the "johns" make an offer to the undercover officers they were then placed under arrest and charged with Prostitution: Soliciting Sex for a Fee.
The suspects arrested during this operation were issued a $300.00 citation in addition to being arrested, and their cars were towed and impounded for 48 hours before being released back to them.
