August 6, 2008 Rockefeller refuses to talk with L.A. detectives Play video

(Brad Puffer, NECN: Boston, MA) - Investigators from California arrived in Boston Wednesday, and are examining possible links between a missing couple and the man known as Clark Rockefeller.

More than 20 years ago a man named Chris Chichester lived on the couple's property. Now authorities want to know if Rockefeller and Chichester are the same person.

A DNA investigation has not been conducted in the California case and the bodies were never identified.

NECN has confirmed that the German Consulate has been contacted by the FBI on this case looking into the identity of a 46-year-old German citizen.

Rockefeller has refused to talk with L.A. investigators regarding their homicide case, and refused to talk to the media.
