(NECN: Brad Puffer) - Boston Police say it appears Clark Rockefeller was setting up a new life in Baltimore, Maryland when he was arrested Saturday. Rockefeller appeared before a Baltimore judge this morning. He will now be brought back to Boston to face charges in the kidnapping of his daughter.
The man known as Clark Rockefeller, 48, faced a fugitive charge
of abduction of a minor child at an arraignment hearing Monday,
said Patricia Deros of the state's attorney office. He also faces
charges in Boston of felony custodial kidnapping, assault and
battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Rockefeller will be transported to Massachusetts soon and could
be arraigned there as early as Tuesday, said Jake Wark, a spokesman
from the district attorney's office in Suffolk County, Mass. He
will remain in Baltimore until then.
Rockefeller's daughter, Reigh Boss, was inside the home and not
harmed. The girl had been missing since the previous weekend, when
Rockefeller had a supervised visit with her.
