| March 28, 2008 Tanker truck explodes in Chicopee, Mass.

(NECN: Chicopee, Mass.) - Firefighters are battling a tanker truck fire on I-91 in Chicopee, Massachusetts. State police told WWLP News that a cargo tanker rolled over.
A portion of the truck was left on the highway and is dangling down onto Center Street in Chicopee. It happened around 9:30 this morning just before exit 13a on I-91 northbound.
Chicopee Fire Dept. confirms that diesel fuel has spread onto Center Street.
Northbound traffic is being redirected onto I-391. Southbound traffic is being redirected down exit 13 onto Route 5.
