(NECN: Latoyia Edwards, Woburn, Mass.) - A Massachusetts judge is hearing testimony about whether to suppress phone conversations between a teenage murder suspect and his family and friends.
John Odgren is accused of killing a classmate in the bathroom at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School in January 2007.
There are allegations that now 17-year-old Odgren talked about stabbing a classmate with his parents, while the young man was in police lockup.
A judge is deciding whether these recorded phone conversation tapes were obtained illegally.
Odgren suffers from a form of autism.
Odgren was charged with stabbing to death a schoolmate.
The trial may begin in September, but the date is still up in the air.
