(Brad Puffer, NECN: Boston, Mass.) - More than a year after 13-year-old Luis Gerena was gunned down on the streets of Boston, two teenagers face murder charges.
Prosecutors say the victim was a good kid who was mistaken by the suspects for a rival gang member.
Family members say Luis had stayed late at school and was walking home from the Jackson Square MBTA station when he was gunned down.
The suspects, 19-year-old Nurudeen Alabi and 17-year-old Darrell Rodrigues, were arraigned in Roxbury District Court Friday afternoon.
NECN's Brad Puffer has details.
