(NECN: Josh McElveen, Easton, Mass.) - A small plane carrying a cancer patient to Boston for medical treatment crashed this morning in a grocery store parking lot in Easton, Massachusetts -- killing all three people on board.
The plane, operated by "Angel Flight Northeast," went down in the parking lot at a Hannaford Brothers grocery store.
"Angel Flight Northeast" is a group of volunteer pilots that helps people who need to travel for medical treatment, but cannot afford it.
The plane took off from Westhampton Beach on Long Island, New York and was carrying the pilot and a Long Island couple.
No one on the ground was hurt, but witnesses described a frightening scene.
