(Danica Pecirep, NECN: Worcester, MA) - The city of Worcester is stepping up it's fight against the Asian Longhorned Beetle.
Companies that cut down trees and limbs for living now have to comply with new regulations put in to get rid of the beetles. If they don't, they could face fines. It is just one of the developments in this battle against the beetles.
Those companies that deal with trees, will have to learn a whole new set rules when they work within the quarantined beetle zone. Over 1,000 businesses have received literature on how to properly dispose of infested trees and stumps.
Danica Pecirep has more.
