(NECN: Jim Braude) - Before there was the 2008 presidential campaign, there was a Massachusetts businessman who ran for governor on a promise of "change" and "reform." One thing Christy Mihos did not have in common with Barack Obama was results. He came in third, but he survived to try again.

Mr. Mihos joins NewsNight's Jim Braude to discuss the state of affairs at the State House -- everything from Speaker Sal DiMasi's ethics and embrace of a gas tax to Governor Deval Patrick's complaint that we have grown too cynical to appreciate his record.
