(NECN) - Officials say President-Elect Barack Obama will formally tap former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle as the next Health and Human Services secretary today. He also plans to put Daschle in charge of a new White House Office of Health Reform.
After losing re-election to the Senate in 2004, Daschle, D-S.D.,
became a public policy adviser and member of the legislative and
public policy group at the law and lobbying firm Alston & Bird.
NECN's Jenny Johnson has more on that and a look at today's other top stories in this "aJenda."
