(NECN) - A modest wish for the New Year. If only we could turn back the clock to January 2008. A time of Bliss, when real estate was always sold at a profit, the stock market only went up, and you couldn't wait to trade in your SUV for one that was newer and bigger. Was it all a dream?
On Newsnight, we review the best and worst of 2008. A dog year in which it seems everyone lost savings, or jobs, or homes and some people lost all three.
And yet, a new president is waiting in the wings and he'll make history just by taking the oath of office. What a year!
