Broadside: Crowded Governor's race in Mass.

(NECN) - Boston Globe columnist Joan Venocchi joins Jim Braude to discuss the Governor's race in Massachusetts.

Yesterday, Republican Charlie Baker made his bid official. There are now at least three confirmed candidates, and Tim Cahill says he will decide after Labor Day.

Joan explains that the candidates announced their intentions now because they see a weakness in Governor Patrick. She says Patrick has some vulnerabilities and the race should be an interesting one.
