(NECN) - Nothing was off limits in the final televised debate for the Massachusetts Senate race before next week's primary. The debate, held at NECN covered everything from the war in Afghanistan, to the personal lives of public figures.
Martha Coakley, Michael Capuano, Alan Khazei and Stephen Pagliuca were also asked whether President Obama deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. The candidates said that although the prize may have been premature, they are optimistic he will live up to it.
The candidates also discussed financial regulation and whether it should be handled on the state or national level.
