GOP front-runner to make Vermont stop Thursday

MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - U.S. Sen. John McCain is coming to Vermont.

His campaign says the GOP presidential front-runner will make a campaign stop Thursday in South Burlington, at an 11:30 a.m. rally at Atlantic Aviation.

Campaign spokesman Jim Barnett says the Arizona senator will fly in from Washington.

Barnett says McCain is dedicated to reaching out to every vote in every primary state, and Vermont is going to make an important contribution to the 1,191 delegates necessary for him to secure the nomination.
