| October 26, 2008 Hasselbeck defends Palin's wardrobe
|
(NECN) - Opening for Sarah Palin in the state of Florida, View co-host and Boston College graduate Elisabeth Hasselbeck came to defense of Sarah Palin's wardrobe, which has come under criticism since it was discovered that the Republican National Committee paid roughly $150,000 in new clothes for the vice presidential candidate.
"I thought I'd come here and speak in terms they they might understand," Hasselbeck said. "Yeah, she sure is a woman who knows how to dress. But I'm most impressed with her accessories, like the Flag pin she wears to honor her son. It's peculiar, because they didn't list the value of that accessory, did they? You know why? Because it's priceless and they know it."
Hasselbeck went on to say that Palin cleaned house in Alaska, meaning that she rid the state of corruption.
