| October 16, 2008 Kerry, Beatty to debate live on NECN
|
(NECN) - NECN will be the only television station to host a live debate between Democratic Massachusetts Senator John Kerry and his Republican opponent Jeff Beatty.
The debate will take place during a special edition of NECN's Newsnight program on Monday night, October 20th at 8pm.
It will be moderated by Newsnight host Jim Braude and NECN anchor RD Sahl.
Kerry is seeking his fifth term in the U.S. Senate. His challenger is a businessman and consultant from Harwich, Massachusetts.
