(Alison King, NECN) - John McCain confidently accepted the Republican nomination for president last night and predicted victory in November.
McCain knows that the Obama camp is trying to closely link him with the Bush Administration, so he made clear in his speech that he was a different kind of Republican -- one who, as he said, does not work for himself, his party, or special interest groups, but the American people.
NECN political reporter Alison King took in the action from St. Paul, Minnesota.
