(NECN) - President-elect Obama made it to the White House today. Obama was still a guest, but he got a personal tour from the man who he will be replacing in January. First Lady Laura Bush treated Michelle Obama to a tour of the White House living quarters.
Bush and Obama met for about an hour, likely discussing pressing issues including the war in Iraq and the financial crisis. Specifically, an economic stimulus package proposed by the democrat-controlled congress.
Tonight's Newsnight guests have lots to say about the problems at hand. George Bachrach teaches politics and journalism at Boston University, and Avi Nelson is a talk radio host and political commentator.
