(NECN: Dayton, Ohio) - "There is no perfect energy source, says Barack Obama." "Nuclear power has a very big advantage. It doesn't produce carbons that cause global warming," said Obama. "This climate change issue is real. Nobody disputes it."
Barack Obama attended a "Secure Energy Future Town Hall meeting" at the Stivers School for the Arts in Dayton, Ohio Friday.
The problem is the storage of the waste, according to the Democratic presidential contender.
"I want to spend $15 billion a year on technologies to develop clean coal so we know how to capture the carbon from coal fire plants and not have that carbon released in the atmosphere," said Obama.
