(NECN) - On the night of the West Virginia Democratic primary, Barack Obama speaks from a town hall style meeting in Missouri. Obama conceded defeat in advance of the West Virginia primary to begin his campaign against John McCain.
"A vote for John McCain, is a vote for George Bush's third term," says Obama, "4 more years of Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans who don't need them and weren't even asking for them....4 more years of a president who supports privatizing social security..We need a new direction in Washington and that is what we have been offering in this campaign."
