February 22, 2008 Obama boogies down in Texas Play video

(NECN) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama boogied down with country band "Asleep at the Wheel" at a post-debate fundraiser in Austin, Texas Thursday night.

Obama leaned into the microphone and sang the lyrics "Boogie Down in Texas" with the lead singer of the band.

The Senator then did a little twist, threw up a double-handed Texas Longhorn sign and walked off the stage.
