| September 20, 2008 Obama fires back at McCain
|
(NECN) - The day after John McCain alluded to Barack Obama as one having had a hand in leading to the recent financial crisis, Obama came back firing at the Republican presidential nominee.
"Apparently, now he's decided to assign me responsibility for all the things going on in Washington," Obama said. "Now, I think it's clear that Senator McCain is a little panicked."
Obama went on to accuse McCain of switching his position on a number of topics to stay alive in the race. This comes in response to McCain's attack from the day prior concerning the financial crisis in America.
"Maybe just this once he can spare us the lectures, and admit to his own poor judgment in contributing to these problems," McCain said.
