(NECN/ABC) - Democrat Barack Obama wraps up his overseas trip on Saturday.
He's in Britain meeting with former Prime Minister Tony Blair and current leader Gordon Brown.
Script: At a brief stop at the Elysee Palace in Paris, Barack Obama seemed to win over French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who said he was "especially happy" to be meeting with the Illinois senator-
"We say good luck to Barack Obama. If he is chosen France will be delighted and if it's someone else then France will be the friend of the United States of America."
When asked if he was endorsing Obama, Sarkozy didn't deny it. The visit also included some international politics.
Obama urged Iran to work with the European Union to end their uranium enrichment program.
Obama stated, "Iran should accept the proposals that Sarkozy and the EU+3 are being presenting you./..DON'T wait for the next president because the pressure, I think, is only going to build."
Shortly after Obama made those remarks, John McCain's camp shot back, saying last month Obama referred to similar EU efforts as outsourcing.
Randy Schuenemann Senior Foreign Policy Advisor John McCain 2008 stated, "Does Barack Obama pick and choose his positions out of inexperience or does he just play to his audience?"
But in Colorado meeting with the Dalai Lama- McCain wasn't focused on Obama, instead- he took on the Chinese government- saying it's time for that country to show it cares about human
rights.
"Our prayers are with you and the people of Tibet, and particularly those, those who are held as political prisoners today. We urge the Chinese
government to free them as soon as possible."
Before Obama wraps up his European tour he will meet with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown in London Sunday.
ABC News reporter Christinanne Klein has more on the story.
