(NECN/ABC) - Barack Obama left the Middle East behind today, landing in Germany this morning.
Obama wrapped up his visit to Israel with a trip to the Western Wall in Jerusalem. He bowed his head in prayer and left a customary note in the wall.
During his trip he promised to work toward and Israeli-Palestinian peace deal.
Obama also spoke about the threat a nuclear Iran could pose to Israel and the rest of the Middle East.
