(NECN) - Staff writer K.C. Myers from the Cape Cod Times, discusses the time line of events that ended with Senator Edward M. Kennedy being hospitalized in Boston Saturday.
Myers says that a Cape Cod Times photographer heard the 911 call to the Kennedy compound and was on the scene as the Hyannis fire department brought the Senator to the Cape Cod Hospital. From there he was airlifted to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Initial reports suspected Senator Kennedy suffered stroke like-symptoms, however now a spokeswoman says it appears it was a seizure. Stephanie Cutter says, "Senator Kennedy is resting comfortably, and it is unlikely we will know anything more for the next 48 hours".
Cape Cod Times reported K.C. Myers has more with R.D. Sahl and Kristy Lee.
