(Scot Yount, NECN: Boston, MA) - John McCain accepted his party's nomination Thursday at the Republican National Convention.
Those who watched at Doyle's Pub in Jamaica Plain had differing views of the speech. Most of the people asked, said they were very impressed with Sen. McCain's pick of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
Although some disagreed with what Palin said in her speech, they all said that she delivered it well.
Earlier at McCain's Boston headquarters, staff members were charged up and on the phones looking to sway undecided voters.
