(NECN) - Thousands braved the threat of rain to catch day one of the Great State of Maine Air Show in Portland on Saturday.
The Navy's Blue Angels were grounded by limited visibility but they're expected to take to the air on Sunday over the Brunswick Naval Air Station.
This is the last year of the show because the base is set to close in 2011 and will be understaffed until then.
