(Danica Pecirep, NECN: Worcester, MA) - New technology that could save the lives of firefighters was tested out Wednesday. It is being developed at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Worcester firefighters felt their way up the stairs at Worcester Polytech Wednesday. It was an exercise training for a situation they hope they never have to face. Lt. John Griffin lead the team of firefighters testing new technology designed to find the exact location of firefighters inside a burning building.
