(NECN: Ted McEnroe) - The company that brought you the verb "to google" is going mobile. Google and T-Mobile will announce their new entry into the smartphone market today. The T-Mobile G1 will be the first phone to use Google's new 'Android' operating system. The phones will be manufactured by HTC, and are expected to sell for $199.
It's Google's effort to build on its empire by taking on smartphone leaders Apple and Blackberry head on. NECN Director of Digital Media Ted McEnroe talks with Mike and Karen about the new phones.
