(NECN) - It is called the iBot Wheelchair and was developed by the company who made the Segway.

This wheelchair has a range of up and down and side to side motion that allows paraplegics to do many things that are denied to them now like climb stairs on their own, raise the chair to reach a high shelf at the grocery store and even play basketball..

The wheelchair is currently being tested at Spaulding Rehab.
