August 2, 2008 Maiden voyage for Airbus A-380 Play video

(NECN/ABC) - You will not find airline cutbacks on this plane.

We are talking about the Emirates Airbus A-380.

It made it's maiden voyage on Friday, flying from Dubai to JFK.

It is a super jumbo jet -with all the bells and whistles too boot.

Before you get all excited about flying this plane - you should know that a first class roundtrip ticket from from New York to Dubai will cost $20,000

Business class is 10-thousand dollars.

Passengers flying economy will pay roughly 2-thousand dollars a ticket
