(NECN) - Some of Ted Williams strangest possessions didn't exactly command big money at auction Sunday.
About 200 unique pieces of memorabilia were auctioned off in New Hampshire.
The oddities ranged from Buffalo hoof ashtrays, to paintings from his daughter Claudia.
Most of Williams hunting memorabilia sold far under their expected value and Claudia's paintings of monsters and space aliens went unsold.
She was supposed to be the beneficiary of the auction.
Another auction will be held in April.
