(NECN) - Brock Bradford, captain of the Boston College hockey team, says "being outdoors lightens the mood." Bradford says it's nice to follow the lead of the NHL.

The BC men's hockey team took their practice outdoors today.

BC will play Vermont this weekend as they get to the meat of their Hockey East schedule, but those games will be indoors, leading everybody wondering, why the move outside?

"It reinvigorates your whole spirit of hockey," says head coach Jerry York.
