(NECN: Chris Collins) - The athletic director at Boston College is refusing to confirm whether he has threatened to fire football coach Jeff Jagodzinski, but he does say he wants a coach who wants to be at the school for a long time.

Numerous reports say BC has threatened to fire Jags if he interviews for the New York Jets head coaching job.

ESPN reports he is planning to go through with the interview sometime this week.
