(NECN) - Ray Allen scored 20 of his 23 points in the first half against Dallas on Sunday, helping build a nice cushion for the Celtics, as they went on to win 124-100. Allen noted after the game that the team has rebounded well from a holiday skid that ended their 19-game winning streak and put doubt in the hands of some of the team's fan base as to whether or not the Celtics could win it all again this year. "We know our focus is at an all-time high," Allen said. "It's a long season and you expect to have lulls at points, but we've got so many guys that are mature and have the experience that we stay on each other to make sure that we do the small little things that keep us on top and winning." "We can't get too big for our britches; we got to keep building," Allen said. "I've said to the guys several times that when it's going well like this -- say we're beating a team by 20 plus points -- this is a game that we have to use to build toward the next game, because all the games aren't going to be that way."
