(NECN) - Boston Celtics forward Leon Powe has been ruled out for the remainder of the playoffs due a torn ACL. Coach Doc Rivers says its, "obviously a tough break. Not for our team, for Leon. That's a tough one. I told our guys those are the days as a coach that are very difficult, because he just does so many right things. He played three minutes with a torn ACL." Rivers says, "Forget the playoffs and all that stuff. That's just a tough injury for a kid who has done everything right. That just makes no sense." The Celtics are also without Kevin Garnett, who will likely miss the remainder of the playoffs as well. The Celtics and Chicago Bulls are even in the opening round of the playoffs, tied at one game apiece. Game 3 is in Chicago Thursday night.
