Ainge: Hudson must prove himself to Rivers

(NECN: Boston, Mass.) - Boston Celtics general manager Danny Ainge is speaking out about the Celtics off-season.

"I think Lester has an opportunity of a lifetime," says Ainge. "It's up to him to prove to Coach Rivers that we need him."

"The best player still available at 58 was Lester for us," says Ainge.

Lester Hudson of Tennessee-Martin is a 6'3" guard.

The 2008 NBA champions chose Lester with the 58th of the draft's 60 picks.

Hudson averaged 27.5 points as a senior and 25.7 as a junior while grabbing more than seven rebounds per game each season. As a senior, he had games in which he scored 41 and 42 points.
