(NECN) - Former Red Sox slugger Manny Ramirez is making his return to the big leagues tonight. Manny is set to be back in the Dodgers lineup tonight in San Diego against the Padres.
He just finished serving his 50-game suspension for violating Major League Baseball's drug policy. apologizes
At a press conference before the game, Manny wouldn't discuss steroids, or any investigation against him. Instead he focused on how much he has missed the game.
He said, "I can't wait to enter the field. I miss the game that I love." Manny apologized to his fans and teammates, and thanked Frank McCourt for his support
The first place Dodgers went 29-21 while Manny was banned.
