(NECN: Boston, Mass.) - He didn't play a second in the Finals, but Brian Scalbrine wasn't about to leave the NBA Finals without making an impression. Scalabrine crashed the Celtics-Lakers post-game news conference, and when no one had any questions, took matters into his own hands, challenging reporters who picked the Lakers to win.
When asked about his own limited role in the Finals, Scalabrine said that in 10 years, he'd still be a champion. "In 20 years (when everyone has forgotten), I can tell my kids I was a starter. And in 30 years, I'll tell them I was MVP!"
