Aftermath of Tom Brady injury

(NECN) - On Monday morning, Karen Swensen and Mike Nikitas shared some interesting stories with viewers on Good Morning Live.

Mike Nikitas discussed all the coverage from Tom Brady's knee injury and the impact to the team.

Karen Swensen brought up how Don Haskins passed away over the weekend.

Don Haskins died of congestive heart failure at the age of 78 on Sunday.

In 1996 Haskins used five black starters to win a national basketball title with Texas Western, the school now known as the University of Texas El Paso.

Haskins said he wasn't trying to make a statement, he was just playing his best players.

The 2006 movie "Glory Road" was based on the story of that Texas Western team.
