| September 6, 2008 BC can't hold on, loses 19-16 to Georgia Tech
|
(NECN) - Many Superfans were pulling for an upset against Georgia Tech at the Heights on Saturday, and they almost got their wish.
The so-called "Ramblin' Wreck" of Georgia Tech was just that early on -- a wreck, fumbling three times in the first half.
Boston College led 16-10 going into the 3rd quarter, but a safety followed by a long touchdown run by Tech running back Jonathan Dwyer wiped away that lead.
The Yellow Jackets won this one 19-16 and improve to (2-0), while BC evens out at (1-1).
