(NECN/ESPN) - Jimmy Clausen surely did not help the cause for the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. Four interceptions, one returned 76 yards for a touchdown by BC defensive back Paul Anderson, sealed Clausen's fate in this one. Boston College pulled off their sixth straight win over Notre Dame, pulling the all-time series even at 11 games apiece. As the nation's only two top-tier college football programs, this matchup is always a highly energized one. The Eagles defense blanked the Irish on Saturday night, helping the team to a 17-0 victory and a (6-3), which qualifies the team for bowl play.
